I love to inspire! Truth be told what I do is make a spark, I can even go as far as to provide some kindling.  It’s up to you to add what is necessary, to keep that fire burning inside of you, to fan the flames of your passion. Today I challenge you to find ways to inspire yourself, to create a spark for yourself. What is it that you wish to ignite in your life? How will you feed your fire?

Step 1. Invite THE GREAT SPIRIT to your bonfire!

Step 2. Take a few moments in the silence, settle yourself as your breath becomes rhythmic. 4 minutes to ignition!

Step 3. Slowly breathe, in for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, release for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, repeat until you have gone 4 minutes, set a timer if you wish.

Step 4.  Add your gratitude, this will fan the flames!

Much Love, Many Blessings, and Happy Ignition!

I’ve attempted twice in my life to become a vegetarian. Each time my hair would fall out. I am personally not ‘into’ taking supplements, because face it who knows what is really in that stuff and who regulates it? So the logical choice was to just be who I am, which is a meat eater. The first time I attempted the vegetarian thing my then 5 or 6 year old grandson would pray for me to start eating meat again, he was concerned for his Nana, guess he knew what he was doing. 🙂 Thanks Brian Jr!

Some how I allowed others to make me feel as if I was doing something ‘wrong’ by eating meat or not doing something ‘right’ if I couldn’t remain a vegetarian, that I was consuming ‘other beings’ of God.  That by eating meat it would affect my connection with God, that it would affect my connection to the angels, or that I had no compassion for these animals. I had to let that all go. I eat as natural as possible making choices to find humanely farmed meats. I eat well balanced meals that provide the nutrients my body needs, which include plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, meat, fish, and eggs, eating organically when possible.  I stay away from dairy products as I am lactose intolerant.

Here’s a little something you might find interesting if you are unsure where you fit in.

Happy Meals don’t all come from McDonald’s, they come from homes where people prepare and take care to provide the healthiest meals possible for themselves and their families.

Much Love and Many Blessings

The Miracles of Everyday Living

A miracle is a miracle is a miracle. Size is unimportant. Some people believe it has to say “WOW” to be a miracle, I’d like to introduce you to an ordinary miracle, and yet no miracle is ordinary.
The other day I was putting my facial moisturizer on in the morning as I was getting ready for work.  I asked God, “I wonder if there is something natural I can used on my face.” This might seem like something small, however for years I have gotten compliments on how good my skin looks, how good I look for my age, 52 as of this writing, so was I really ready to give up the cream I had used for years that has had such great results, well yes. I am working towards eliminating a lot of the unnatural things in my life, I know my moisturizer is filled with chemicals. I had to be careful, I didn’t want anything that would block my pores either. I was about to get my answer. I was blessed with another new client this week, her name is Annette Labon. She belongs to my Facebook group “Inspired Wellness”. Annette lives right here in the Augusta, Ga area that I live in. She sent me a message asking me if I was taking new clients. Sure am! We scheduled her appointment for the same morning I had asked God for something more natural for my face. I was going to be coloring and cutting Annette’s hair so she would be at the salon for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Plenty of time to chat about all kinds of things. Here’s the cool part, Annette asked me a question about coconut oil. I told her I occasionally cook with it. She told me she uses it on her face, in fact her whole body. My first question, although it was apparent by her clear complexion, does it block your pores? “No” she said. Hmmm well this would leave me something to ponder. Did I want to put OIL on my face? Especially something that seems rather heavy. After her appointment ended I had lunch with a friend, doing some running around afterwards. It was around 3:00ish when I returned home. I did a few things around the house and played with Lily, our dog. I don’t watch a lot of TV especially during the day, but I felt drawn to turn the TV on around 4:45 local time, finding one of the daily television program on. I guess the program was keeping everyone on the edge of their seats about something they were going to reveal, it was “Natures Ultimate Makeover Food”. Hair, smile, & skin (they also touted the waistline, I’m not sold on that one) IT WAS COCONUT OIL!
I realize this all sounds rather odd. Maybe not! I know for me it was the answer to the question I had asked God about that morning. Annette gave me the answer, the TV show gave me the confirmation. Thank you God for sending Annette as your messenger and the perfect timing of my day yesterday to watch exactly what I needed to see on the TV program.
How open are you to the miracles God provides each and everyday?

Open wide your eyes now,
Open wide your heart,
Open wide your mind too,
Let this Holy party start!

Thank You God

Do your research: I use coconut oil very very very sparingly, (did I say very) when cooking, I have not jumped on the ingestion of coconut oil ‘band wagon’. This article may help you look at both sides of coconut oil, it seemed to make the most sense out of all the articles I researched for pros and cons of coconut oil
